a Remove the output expander left cover. See “Output expander

b Reseat the sensor cable on the output expander controller
board.

Check the sensor for improper installation, contamination, and
damage.
Is the sensor properly installed and free of contamination and
damage?

Reinstall or replace the sensor. See

Enter the Diagnostics menu, and then navigate to:
Output bin quick feed
Perform the feed test on each optional bin.
Does the error occur in any of the optional bins?

a Remove the optional bins.
b Reinstall the optional bins one at a time, and then identify which
bin is causing the error.
