Display Areas
The control panel includes a touch-screen.
• Touch a tactile area on the touch-screen display to access the corresponding
function.
The control panel also includes a touch-screen stylus, shortcut keys and an alphanu-
merical keypad.
2.2 Operator Controls
See the control panel and screen layouts on the flap of this guide
cover.
Account Displays account currently selected.
Ad slogan Indicates that an Ad slogan will be printed when yellow.
Date Displays the date that will be printed.
Imprint memory Displays selected imprint memory when applicable.
Item counter Counts the envelopes or labels printed since the last
counter reset.
Label indicator When displayed, indicates that the mailing system will
print a label.
Mailbox Indicates unread messages in message box.
Postage Indicates the amount to be printed.
Print offset Indicates the printing offset status (stamp position shift-
ing for thick envelopes).
Rate and services Indicates the current rate and services selected.
Remaining funds Displays funds available for postage.
Reset item counter Resets the item counter to zero. This is the starting
point for batch data reports.
Sealing Switches the sealer on/off and indicates its state.
Tex t Indicates that a text will be printed on the stamp, when
yellow.
Type of stamp Current type of stamp. Use Stamp configuration short-
cut to change.
