Overview
Managing Funds
As a user, you can perform the following money-related operations in order to
manage and monitor postal funds:
• Add funds (postage) (p.92)
• Check available funds in the PSD (meter) (p.94)
• Unlock the Postal Security Device (meter) (p.95)
The Postal Security Device (PSD) – Postage Meter
The PSD, located in the print base, handles the funds (money) in your mailing
system.
The PSD performs all necessary operations to comply with postal standards, and
must have regular connections to the Postal Service.
Tracking Funds
Reports
• All mailing operations involving postage are recorded in the mailing system. To
generate reports on the use of funds, see
