DV-7000 Series
A. Description
1. The DV-7000 Series Heli-Flow Pump is a rotary positive displacement auger pump.
2. The DV-7000 can be used as a floating head valve for dispensing dots, or as a
standard valve for dispensing lines and/or patterns.
3. It is good for small dot dispensing with high viscosity materials.
B. Operation
1. The DV-7000 dispenses fluid by the controlled rotation of a rotary feed screw.
2. Fluid is pressure-fed into the valve and the feed screw.
3. Air pressure to the syringe of fluid can be configured to remain constant or to
toggle on and off with the valve motor.
4. The valve motor turns the feed screw and shears the fluid.
 This shear force drives fluid down the threads and through the valve. Fluid
viscosity (resistance to flow), the size of the needle opening and the length of
the feed screw interact to create backpressure.
 The balances between these forces determine the amount of fluid dispensed.
C. Features
1. Tool-free disassembly and assembly of wetted parts for easy cleaning.
2. Encoder-controlled servo motor.
3. Screw is decoupled from the motor.
4. Non-stick coating on lower surfaces.
5. Disposable fluid couplings.
D. Adjustments
1. You can optimize the performance of the DV-7000 by changing various settings,
such as motor speed and air pressure.
2. Software parameters can also be changed to meet your particular application
requirements.
