DP-3000 Troubleshooting (Continued)
H. No Material Comes Through Priming Port When Priming
Possible Cause Recovery
1. Priming port clogged 1. Clean pumping chamber.
2. Valve or fluid pressure set
too low
2. Set the valve pressure (non-encoded models) or fluid
pressure (encoded models) to 40-80 psi.
I. Stopcock not actuating
Possible Cause Recovery
1. Air not hooked up 1. Ensure that the air is on and is reaching the stopcock.
J. Inconsistent Accuracy And Repeatability
Possible Cause Recovery
1. Lead screw malfunction 1. Replace Lead Screw. Refer to Valve Manual.
2. Lead screw bearing
malfunction
2. Contact Asymtek Technical Service Group for repair.
K. Needle Moves During Dispensing
Possible Cause Recovery
1. Stopcock and needle
assembly is not assembled
correctly
