DV-6000 Troubleshooting
A. Intermittent Or No Fluid Is Dispensing
Possible Cause Recovery
1. Valve pressure off or too low 1. Set pressure.
2. Clogged dispensing tip 2. Replace tip.
3. Plugged valve 3. Clean valve.
4. Empty syringe. 4. Replace syringe.
5. Speed controller set to 0 RPM 5. Rotate speed control knob clockwise.
6. Tip too close to substrate or
touching substrate
6. Adjust height sensing; flatten parts or fixture.
7. No power to motor 7. See No Power to Motor Below.
8. Material cured in valve 8. None; valve is destroyed.
9. Feedscrew damaged or bent 9. Return valve to factory for repair.

B. No Power To Motor
Possible Cause Recovery
1. Loose CB-6000 Interface
Cable connection
1. Tighten connectors.
2. Loose CB-036 connection
(A-400 systems)
2. Tighten connectors.
3. Driver circuits failed 3. Check driver fuse.
C. Material Drips Continuously From Dispensing Tip
Possible Cause Recovery
1. Fluid Pressure line used to
pressurize syringe
1. Connect syringe to Valve Pressure line.
2. Material viscosity less than 10
kcps
2. Install a Check Valve.
3. Needle Heater temperature set
too high
3. Lower Needle Heater temperature.
