DJ-2000 Troubleshooting (Continued)
J. Not Dispensing Properly
Possible Cause Recovery
1. Jet may need to be cleaned
1. Perform “Cleaning Procedure” in DJ-2000 Operations
Manual.
K. Dispenser Does Not Cycle
Possible Cause Recovery
1. No signal to the solenoid valve
1. Check that the solenoid cable is securely fastened to the
CPC connector.
2. Insufficient or no air pressure
to the solenoid valve
2. Check fluid air, valve air, and main air pneumatics;
tighten connections if necessary. If air is flowing, set the
air pressure to 70–90 psi.
L. Solenoid Is Firing, But No Dots Are Forming
Possible Cause Recovery
1. Plugged Nozzle
1. Clean nozzle with solvent and cleaning wire (provided in
DJ-2000 Spare Parts Kit). If not possible to clean the
nozzle, replace it.
2. Failed dispenser component or
clogged jet
2. Follow the procedure “Cleaning the DJ-2000” in DJ-2000
Operations Manual. (Steps for inspection of the internal
components for damage are included in this procedure.)
The DJ-2000 should be cleaned to remove any excess
fluid that may be blocking chambers and orifices.
3. No adhesive in dispenser or air
bubble in the flow path
3. Prime the DJ-2000 (Refer to “To manually prime the DJ-
2000” in DJ-2000 Operations Manual.)
Check the syringe pressure and proper connection to
the dispenser.
4. Dispenser not cycling
4. See Dispenser Does Not Cycle.
M. Air Coming From Weep Hole
Possible Cause Recovery
1. Damaged upper body seal
1. Replace the upper body seal. Refer to “To disassemble
and clean the DJ-2000” in the Valve Operations Manual.
