Dispensing Head Performs a Height Sense

y A program command is issued to the
FmNT software

y Sends command to lower the dispensing
head to the Servo Interconnect PCA.

y Relays command to lower the dispensing
head to the Z-axis Servo Control
Amplifier.
Z-axis Servo Control Amplifier
y Activates the Z-axis Servo Motor.

y Activates to lower the dispensing head.
Height Sensor Probe Input
y When the Height Sensor Probe touches
the substrate, a Height Sense Touch
input occurs which the Height Sensor
relays to the Interconnect PCA.
Interconnect PCA
y Relays the Height Sense Touch input to
the Interface PCA.
Interface PCA
y Sends a Position Capture output to the
Interconnect PCA.
y Relays Height Sense Touch input to the
PIO-96-J Card.
Interconnect PCA
y Relays Position Capture output
from Interface PCA to the Servo
Interconnect PCA.
PIO-96-J Card
y Receives Height Sense Touch input from
Interface PCA. Responds with a PMAC
Stop output to the Interface PCA.

y Relays PMAC Stop output from the PIO-
96-J Card to the PMAC Card.
