Access:
► Select "System Config > Remote Access > HUMS".
The dialog provides settings to configure the health and utilization monitoring sys-
tem (HUMS) of the R&S SMB100B.
The remote commands required to define these settings are described in Chapter 12.8,
"HUMS remote control commands", on page 374.

Activates HUMS.
Data is only recorded, if HUMS is enabled. If disabled, already recorded data can still
be retrieved.
The setting is reset by a factory preset to "off".

Enhanced Settings
Opens a dialog for configuring enhanced protocol settings, see Chapter 11.5.8, "HUMS
enhanced settings", on page 298.
Access is only available, when HUMS is enabled, see State.
