7. For example, uncheck "SMB 1.0/2.0 Server" to block the access for the SMB
Samba server.
8. Enter the Security Password.
9. Select "Accept".
11.7.3 To configure the access over GPIB
To control the instrument remotely over the GPIB bus, it must be addressed using the
GPIB address. The remote control address is factory-set to 28, but it can be changed if
it does not fit in the network environment. For remote control, addresses 0 through 30
are allowed. The GPIB address is maintained after a reset of the instrument settings.
How to change the GPIB address
1. Select "System Config > Remote Access > GPIB Address".
2. Select "GPIB Channel Address" and enter a value between 0 and 30.
Risk of losing remote connection
If the remote access and network settings had been configured to values different to
the default, executing a factory preset via remote control terminates the connection to
the instrument.
