password
Synopsis: A string
Default: N/A
The password used to log on to a remote PPP server
dial-type
Synopsis: string - one of the following keywords { Pulse, DTMF }
Default: DTMF
The type of dialing system to use on the phone line. This field is only applied on analog modems
phone-number
Synopsis: A string
The telephone number to dial to connect to the remote PPP server
use-peer-dns
Using DNS recommended by the PPP server
max-dial-attempts
Synopsis: integer
Default:
The number of consecutive times that the modem will dial the phone number before it stops
attempting to establish a connection. Zero (0) means the modem will try to connect to the PPP
server forever.
dial-interval
Synopsis: integer
Default: 30
The time in seconds to wait before re-initiating the link after it terminates
dial-on-demand
Activate Dial-on-Demand on this connection. The establishment of the PPP connection is postponed
until there is data to be tranmitted via the interface
disconnect-idle-timeout
Synopsis: integer
Default:
The time in seconds to wait before disconnecting PPP when there is no traffic on the link. This
option is only valid when Dial-on-Demand is enabled
failover-on-demand
Activate link failover on-demand on this device. PPP establishment on this device is controlled by
link failover
