“.” = Time error has exceeded time quality flag 1's threshold (TFOM = 4)
“*” = Time error has exceeded time quality flag 2's threshold (TFOM = 5)
“#” = Time error has exceeded time quality flag 3's threshold (TFOM = 6)
“?” = Time error has exceeded time quality flag 4's threshold OR a reference source is
unavailable (TFOM >=7)
CR Carriage Return (ASCII Character 13)
LF Line Feed (ASCII Character 10)
The leading edge of the first character (CR) marks the on-time point of the data
stream.
5.3.13.1 Format 9S
Format 9S is a variation of ASCII Format 9 that uses Sysplex compatible fields
indicating sychronization status:
FL_SYNC_SYS_REF_NONE ('X') Never been in sync
FL_SYNC_SYS_REF_YES (' ') In sync with a reference
FL_SYNC_SYS_REF_LOST ('F') Out of sync, lost reference
