WARNING
PERSONAL INJURY HAZARD
Always verify door bridge is down before entering and exiting washer/disinfector chamber.
Always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves and faceshield, when
cleaning or removing debris from bottom of chamber and from debris screen. Surfaces are very hot after
a cycle is completed and residual water could splash on skin and in eyes.
Bar code reader (accessory) emits laser radiation. Do not stare at bar code reader beam.
Due to the size of the equipment, it may be necessary during installation, repairs or maintenance to
conduct work on TOP of the equipment. Customer is responsible for ensuring that necessary fall
protection safeguards are in place, including those required by applicable safety regulations and
standards such as those promulgated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
In case of an emergency, press Emergency Stop pushbutton or pull one of the emergency stop cables to
stop washer/disinfector.
Items in rack may move during processing and be filled with residual hot water or protrude from rack at
the end of the cycle. Always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and carefully remove
items from rack.
Keep away from service door area when washer door opens to avoid crushing hazard.
Keep hands and fingers away from door or any moving parts to prevent crushing.
Never perform cleaning of washer/disinfector chamber until cycle has been completed. If cycle has not
been completed, contaminated debris or water may remain in bottom of chamber.
To open doors from inside washer/disinfector chamber, pull one of the emergency stop cables; doors
slightly open. Push on one of the doors to exit chamber.
To prevent tipping, place the biggest and heaviest items on the lower levels of the rack.
WARNING
POSSIBLE FIRE HAZARD
When washer/disinfector is installed on a combustible floor, floor must be covered with a metal sheet
extending to the outer edges of washer/disinfector.
