8.40 Alarm# 38 Water Recirculation Pressure Switch Defective
Condition
Recirculation water pressure reading signal not received.
Alarm is triggered by...
• WATER RECIRCULATION HIGH SPEED PRESSURE DETECTED output [PS5/PS6] is reached while WATER
RECIRCULATION LOW SPEED PRESSURE DETECTED [PS4] is not reached for five consecutive seconds.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Problem with water recirculation pressure.
1. Press ALARM REPLY on touch screen to stop alarm
buzzer and acknowledge displayed alarm message.
2. Abort cycle.
3. If condition reoccurs, contact STERIS.
8.41 Alarm# 39 PV Chemical Injection with Pump #1 Out of Range
Condition
Dosing system failed to inject minimum amount of chemical required.
Alarm is triggered by...
• With software 10137926 or 10099413: When flowmeter monitoring (Hardware setup) is enabled, if an injection
with flowmeter monitoring is returned to be failed by dosing system. Failed criteria varies depending of chosen
cycles.
• With software 117074357: For an Instrument cycle, injection time measured and returned by dosing system pump
#1 after injection is higher or lower than expected injection time calculated with calibration value +/- 20%.
General Troubleshooting Additional Information
Chemical injection pump not used for extended period of
time.
1. Press ALARM REPLY on touch screen to stop alarm
buzzer and acknowledge displayed alarm message.
2. Abort cycle.
3. Run INSTRUMENT cycle more often.
4. If condition reoccurs, contact STERIS.
