Bar code reader (accessory) does not operate properly.
General Troubleshooting Additional Information
Bar code tag is illegible.
1. Replace bar code tag with a new one.
Bar code tag was scanned horizontally.
1. Scan bar code tag vertically.
Bar code reader is disconnected or defective.
1. Verify connections.
2. If condition reoccurs, contact STERIS.
Bar code tag is not assigned to a cycle.
1. Assign bar code tag.
8.60 Chamber does not drain properly
Condition
Chamber does not drain properly.
General Troubleshooting Additional Information
Debris screen clogged.
1. Remove and clean debris screen (refer to Section
7.4, Debris Screen).
2. If condition reoccurs, contact STERIS.
Drain lines obstructed.
1. Verify drain lines for any obstruction.
2. Remove obstruction, as required.
3. If condition reoccurs, contact STERIS.
