If unable to correct the problem with the use of the charts, or if a problem occurs that is not described on the charts,
please contact STERIS.
NEVER PERMIT UNQUALIFIED PERSONS TO SERVICE THE WASHER/DISINFECTOR.
8.3 Alarm# 1 Emergency Stop
Condition
Emergency Stop pushbutton was pressed or emergency stop cable was pulled.
Alarm is triggered by:
• EMERGENCY SYSTEM OK output [CR3] is not activated for 0.25 consecutive second.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Emergency Stop pushbutton was pressed on load or
unload side.
1. Press ALARM REPLY on touch screen to stop alarm
buzzer and acknowledge displayed alarm message.
2. Pull Emergency Stop pushbutton to disengage it.
3. Reinitialize washer/disinfector by entering
appropriate supervisor code requested on touch
screen.
4. Cycle processes Abort sequence then returns to
normal operation.
5. If condition reoccurs, contact STERIS.
