8.8 Alarm# 6 Spray Arms Not Moving
Condition
Traveler horizontal spray arms are not moving during cycle.
Alarm is triggered by...
• RAISE SPRAY ARMS or LOWER SPRAY ARMS output [CYL13] is activated while SPRAY ARMS UPPER POSITION
DETECTED input [ZS11], SPRAY ARMS MID POSITION DETECTED input [ZS10] and SPRAY ARMS LOWER
POSITION DETECTED input [ZS9] are not reached within 30 seconds. – or –
• RAISE SPRAY ARMS output [CYL13] is activated and SPRAY ARMS LOWER POSITION DETECTED input [ZS9] or
SPRAY ARMS MID POSITION DETECTED input [ZS10] are not lost within 30 seconds. – or –
• LOWER SPRAY ARMS output [CYL13] is activated and SPRAY ARMS UPPER POSITION DETECTED input [ZS11] or
SPRAY ARMS MID POSITION DETECTED input [ZS10] are not lost within 30 seconds. – or –
• During WATER PATH WITH SPRAY ARMS AT HALF TRAVEL sequence, SPRAY ARMS UPPER POSITION DETECTED
input [ZS11] is reached for five consecutive seconds.
General Troubleshooting Additional Information
Traveler system is obstructed.
1. Press ALARM REPLY on touch screen to stop alarm
buzzer and acknowledge displayed alarm message.
2. Abort cycle.
3. Cycle processes Abort sequence then returns to
normal operation.
4. Remove obstruction.
5. Initiate cycle again.
6. If condition reoccurs, contact STERIS.
