8.4 Alarm# 2 Load Door Locking System Malfunction
Condition
Locking mechanism does not detect load door as locked even if locking was activated.
Alarm triggered by:
• LOAD DOOR CLOSED input [Left = ZS2 or Right = ZS6] is not detected while LOAD DOOR LOCKED input [Left =
ZS3/ZS4 or Right = ZS7/ZS8] is detected for five consecutive seconds. – or –
• LOCK LOAD DOOR output [Left = CYL2/CYL3/CYL4/CYL5 or Right = CYL8/CYL9/CYL10/CYL11] is activated and, 25
seconds later, LOAD DOOR LOCKED input [Left = ZS3/ZS4 or Right = ZS7/ZS8] input is not detected.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Locking mechanism does not detect load door as locked.
1. Press ALARM REPLY on touch screen to stop alarm
buzzer and acknowledge displayed alarm message.
2. Abort cycle.
3. Cycle processes Abort sequence then returns to
normal operation.
4. If condition reoccurs, contact STERIS.
8.5 Alarm# 3 Unload Door Locking System Malfunction
Condition
Locking mechanism does not detect load door as locked even if locking was activated.
Alarm triggered by...
• UNLOAD DOOR CLOSED input [Left = ZS2 or Right = ZS6] is not detected while UNLOAD DOOR LOCKED input [Left
= ZS3/ZS4 or Right = ZS7 or ZS8] is detected for five consecutive seconds. – or –
• LOCK UNLOAD DOOR output [Left = CYL2/CYL3/CYL4/CYL5 or Right = CYL8/CYL9/CYL10/CYL11] is activated and,
25 seconds later, UNLOAD DOOR LOCKED input [Left = ZS3/ZS4 or Right = ZS7/ZS8] is not detected.
