8.17 Alarm# 15 Reservoir #1 Water Temperature Too High
Condition
Thermal reservoir RTD reading is above maximum allowed.
Alarm is triggered by...
• RESERVOIR #1 RTD (CONTROL) input [TE2] reading is above 199.8°F (93.2°C) for five seconds.
IMPORTANT: If electric-heated washer/disinfector: Control will trip all heaters circuit breakers as soon as this alarm is triggered.
When washer/disinfector is repaired, return circuit breakers CB5, CB6, CB7, CB8 in ON position (red).
General Troubleshooting Additional Information
Thermal reservoir RTD reading is above maximum

1. Press ALARM REPLY on touch screen to stop alarm
buzzer and acknowledge displayed alarm message.
2. Abort cycle.
3. If condition reoccurs, contact STERIS.
If electric-heated washer/disinfector: Heaters circuit
breaker has been tripped by controller.
1. Contact STERIS.
8.18 Alarm# 16 Reservoir #1 RTD Defective
Condition
Thermal reservoir RTD wires are shorted or disconnected.
Alarm is triggered by...
• RESERVOIR #1 RTD (CONTROL) input [TE2] wires are shorted or disconnected.
General Troubleshooting Additional Information
Thermal reservoir RTD wires are shorted or
disconnected.
1. Press ALARM REPLY on touch screen to stop alarm
buzzer and acknowledge displayed alarm message.
2. Abort cycle.
3. If condition reoccurs, contact STERIS.
