• To close unload side door, press Open/Close door on unload side touch screen.
IMPORTANT: Keep washer/disinfector doors closed between cycles and when washer/disinfector is not in use.
5.4 Before Operating Washer/Disinfector - Door Obstruction
WARNING
PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR EQUIPMENT DAMAGE HAZARD
If an obstruction is present in the wash chamber door, the obstruction detection system
will detect an obstruction and the door will automatically stop from closing. Wait until
the door is fully open before removing obstruction.
If an obstruction is present in the chamber door, a door obstruction sensor detects the obstruction. Door stops closing
and returns to open position.
IMPORTANT: If operator is unable to safely remove the obstruction from chamber door, call a qualified service technician.
5.5 Before Operating Washer/Disinfector — Reservoirs
Before starting a cycle, ensure to understand the following about the reservoirs:
• Two reservoirs (thermal and wash) included as a standard with the washer/disinfector. A third one (wash) is
available as an option;
• Each reservoir is dedicated to a type of detergent (alkaline or neutral) and must be configured by Supervisor (refer
to Section 6.16, Supervisor Menu — Reservoirs);
• If Instrument Washing option is present: No reservoir is dedicated to the enzyme injection. Enzyme detergent is
injected by a chemical pump directly into the chamber;
• No reservoir is dedicated to the Liquid Descaler Acid-Based Scale Remover injection. Detergent is injected by a
chemical pump directly into the chamber;
• Injection is set for each reservoir in Reservoirs menu of Supervisor mode. If a reservoir injection rate is modified
within a cycle, the injection rate is modified for all other cycles using the same reservoir;
