8.38 Alarm# 36 Compressed Air Not Detected
Condition
Compressed air valve is open but compressed air pressure switch does not send a signal.
Alarm is triggered by...
• OPEN MAIN AIR PRESSURE VALVE output [V31] is activated and COMPRESSED AIR PRESSURE DETECTED input
[PS1] is not activated for four consecutive seconds.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
No compressed air supplied to washer/disinfector.
1. Press ALARM REPLY on touch screen to stop alarm
buzzer and acknowledge displayed alarm message.
2. Abort cycle.
3. Ensure compressed air supply is provided to
washer/disinfector.
4. If condition reoccurs, contact STERIS.
8.39 Alarm# 37 Reservoir #1 Too Long to Heat
Condition
Water temperature in Reservoir #1 has not reached setpoint after maximum preheating allowed time.
Alarm is triggered by...
• OPEN RESERVOIR #1 STEAM VALVE output [V11] is activated and RESERVOIR #1 RTD (CONTROL) input [TE2]
reading does not reach reservoir #1 rinse preheat setpoint within maximum allowed time.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Excessive scale build up in the recirculation piping of
water or water in line heat exchanger.
1. Press ALARM REPLY on touch screen to stop alarm
buzzer and acknowledge displayed alarm message.
2. Abort cycle.
3. Run a DECONTAM Cycle (refer to Section 7.6,
Decontam Cycle).
4. If condition reoccurs, contact STERIS.
