8.25 Alarm# 23 Reservoir #1 Level Sensors Defective
Condition
Reservoir #1 low-level sensor does not detect water while high water level sensor detects water, or water flowmeter
detected more than 120 L (31.7 gal) of water.
Alarm is triggered by...
• OPEN RESERVOIR #1 HOT WATER FILL VALVE output [V8/CR10] is closed and OPEN RESERVOIR #1 PURE WATER
FILL VALVE output [V30/CR11] is closed and OPEN RESERVOIR #1 INLET VALVE output [V9] is closed and OPEN
RESERVOIR #1 OUTLET VALVE output [V10] is closed and RESERVOIR #1 LOW WATER LEVEL DETECTED input
[LS1] not reached and RESERVOIR #1 HIGH WATER LEVEL DETECTED input [LS2] reached for ten consecutive
seconds. – or –
• OPEN RESERVOIR #1 HOT WATER FILL VALVE output [V8/CR10] is open and HOT WATER LINE FLOWMETER input
[FS1] count is above 120 L (31.7 gal). – or –
• If Pure Water Line option is present: OPEN RESERVOIR #1 PURE WATER FILL VALVE output [V30/CR11] is open
and PURE WATER LINE FLOWMETER input [FS2] count is above 120 L (31.7 gal).
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Problem with Reservoir #1 level sensors.
1. Press ALARM REPLY on touch screen to stop alarm
buzzer and acknowledge displayed alarm message.
2. Abort cycle.
3. If condition reoccurs, contact STERIS.
8.26 Alarm# 24 Reservoir #2 Level Sensors Defective
Condition
Reservoir #2 low level sensor does not detect water while high water level sensor detects water, or flowmeter water
detected more than 120 L (31.7 gal) of water.
Alarm is triggered by...
• OPEN RESERVOIR #2 HOT WATER FILL VALVE output [V12/CR10] is closed and OPEN RESERVOIR #2 COLD
WATER FILL VALVE output [V15/CR12] is closed and OPEN RESERVOIR #2 INLET VALVE output [V13] is closed
and OPEN RESERVOIR #2 OUTLET VALVE output [V14] is closed and RESERVOIR #2 LOW WATER LEVEL
DETECTED input [LS3] is not reached and RESERVOIR #2 HIGH WATER LEVEL DETECTED input [LS4] is reached
for 10 consecutive seconds. – or –
• OPEN RESERVOIR #2 HOT WATER FILL VALVE output [V12/CR10] is open and HOT WATER LINE FLOWMETER
input [FS1] count is above 120 L (31.7 gal).
General Troubleshooting Additional Information
Problem with Reservoir #2 level sensors.
1. Press ALARM REPLY on touch screen to stop alarm
