8.9 Alarm# 7 Recirculation Process Malfunction
Condition
Recirculation system malfunction.
Alarm is triggered by...
• START WATER RECIRCULATION PUMP LOW SPEED output [C3/PMP1] is activated and WATER RECIRCULATION
LOW SPEED PRESSURE DETECTED input [PS4] is not reached for five consecutive seconds.
NOTE: This condition is no longer verified 30 seconds after RETURN TO SUMP sequence has started.
– or –
• START WATER RECIRCULATION PUMP HIGH SPEED output [C1/C2/PMP1] is activated and WATER
RECIRCULATION HIGH SPEED PRESSURE DETECTED input [PS5/PS6] not reached for five consecutive seconds.
General Troubleshooting Additional Information
Problem in recirculation system.
1. Press ALARM REPLY on touch screen to stop alarm
buzzer and acknowledge displayed alarm message.
2. Abort cycle.
3. If situation reoccurs, contact STERIS.
If Instrument Washing option is present: Instrument
Washing Manifolded Rack is incorrectly connected.
1. Press ALARM REPLY on touch screen to stop alarm
buzzer and acknowledge displayed alarm message.
2. Abort cycle.
3. Cycle processes Abort sequence then returns to
normal operation.
4. Reinsert instrument rack into its wall connection.
5. Initiate cycle again.
6. If condition reoccurs, contact STERIS.
8.10 Alarm# 8 Motor Overload Tripped
Condition
One of the motor contactors overload tripped.
Alarm is triggered by...
• MOTOR OVERLOAD NOT TRIPPED input [C1/C3/C4/C5] signal lost for one second.

Additional Information
One of the motor contactors overload tripped
1. Press ALARM REPLY on touch screen to stop alarm
buzzer and acknowledge displayed alarm message.
2. Abort cycle.
3. If condition reoccurs, contact STERIS.
