Generated printout is light or blank, or parts of characters are missing on generated printout.
General Troubleshooting
Additional Information
Printer paper not installed properly.
1. Reinstall printer paper (refer to Section 7.8, Changing
Printer Paper Roll and Ink Cartridge (Accessory)).
Wrong type of paper used.
1. Use only STERIS paper.
Printer ribbon cartridge life ended.
1. Replace ribbon cartridge (refer to Section 7.8,
Changing Printer Paper Roll and Ink Cartridge
(Accessory)).
Printer head is dirty.
1. Clean printer head.
2. If condition reoccurs, contact STERIS.
8.73 Incomplete drying

Surgical case cart doors facing wrong wall in chamber.
1. Load surgical case cart correctly.
Building exhaust system not working as per equipment
drawing.
1. Contact STERIS.
Drying phase is too short.
1. Increase drying time in Supervisor mode.
2. If situation reoccurs, contact STERIS.
Rinse aid injection rate too low.
1. Increase rinse aid injection rate in Supervisor mode.
2. If situation reoccurs, contact STERIS.
Loaded items have concave shapes that retain water.
1. Place items correctly to ensure maximum drainage.
HEPA filter or air-inlet pre-filter clogged.
1. Replace filter and/or air filter.
