WARNING
PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR EQUIPMENT DAMAGE HAZARD
Before servicing or cleaning washer/disinfector, always turn LOCK/UNLOCK key selector
to LOCK position to prevent cycle operation. Keep the key on yourself.
WARNING
BURN HAZARD
Inner surfaces of chamber, surgical case carts and racks are very hot after cycle is
completed. Allow washer/disinfector to cool down before entering chamber. Always
wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves and faceshield,
and avoid all contact with inner walls when entering chamber.
CAUTION
POSSIBLE EQUIPMENT DAMAGE
Use nonabrasive cleaners when cleaning washer/disinfector. Follow directions on
containers and rub in a back-and-forth motion (in same direction as surface grain).
Abrasive cleaners will damage stainless steel. Cleaners rubbed in a circular motion or
applied with a wire brush or steel wool on cabinet and chamber assemblies can be
harmful to stainless steel. Do not use these cleaners on painted surfaces.
Wipe all plastic surfaces or painted surfaces with 70% isopropyl alcohol cleaner (such as
glass or countertop cleaners).
The following cleaning procedures should be performed once per week:
1. Clean washer/disinfector exterior using a general purpose cleaner (nonabrasive) for general stains, a stainless-
steel stain remover for stubborn stains and a stainless-steel polish to keep equipment looking like new. Proceed
as follows:
a. Using a damp cloth or sponge, apply cleaner in a back-and-forth motion, rubbing in same direction as
surface grain.
b. Thoroughly wipe off cleaner.
c. Polish surface with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth.
2. Clean glass door using glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth.
3. Once per month, clean each door gasket using a brush and a germicidal detergent.
