5B-4 FRONT BRAKE
4) Torque wheel bolts to specification.
Tightening torque
Wheel bolt (c): 95 N
·
m (9.5 kg-m, 69.0 lb-ft)
5) After completing installation, fill reservoir with brake fluid and
bleed brake system. Perform brake test and check each
installed part for oil leakage.
Front Brake Disc
Removal
1) Hoist vehicle and remove wheel.
2) Remove caliper assembly by loosening carrier bolts (1).
3) Remove brake disc screws.
4) Remove disc by using M8 x 1.25 bolts (1) (2 pcs).
Installation
1) Install brake disc to wheel hub and tighten brake disc
screws.
Tightening torque
Disc securing screw (a): 9 N
·
m (0.9 kg-m, 6.5 lb-ft)
2) Install caliper assembly to steering knuckle.
CAUTION:
During removal, be careful not to damage brake flexible
hose and not to depress brake pedal.
