11 Check MAF sensor and its circuit.
1) Check MAF sensor and its circuit, referring to “DTC
P0102 Mass Air Flow Circuit Low Input” and “DTC
P0103 Mass Air Flow Circuit High Input” in this sec-
tion.
Is it in good condition?
Go to Step 12. Repair or replace it.
12 Is DTC P0506 or P0507 detected? Go to applicable DTC
diag. flow table.
Go to Step 13.
13 Check idle air control (IAC) valve
1) Check idle air control valve referring to “Idle Air Con-
trol (IAC) Valve Operation Check” in this section.
Is it in good condition?
Go to Step 14. Repair or replace
idle air control
valve.
14 Check throttle body.
1) Check throttle body for clog or leak.
Is it OK?
Substitute a known-
good ECM and recheck.
Repair throttle
body.
