6-2-100 ENGINE GENERAL INFORMATION AND DIAGNOSIS (M13 ENGINE)
8Check HO2S–1 heater power circuit.
1) Disconnect connector from ECM with igni-
tion switch turned OFF.
2) Connect connector to HO2S–1 with ignition
switch turned OFF.
3) Measure resistance between “E23-4” wire
and “E21-28” wire terminals of ECM con-
nector.
It resistance below 12
Ω
?
HO2S–1 heater circuit are
OK.
Substitute a known-good
ECM and recheck.
“BLK/WHT” and “YEL”
wire high resistance cir-
cuit.
