Y To install the mercury lamp
1. Plug the lamp cable into the Hg Lamp connector on the back of the spectrophotometer.
See Connectors.

2. Follow these instructions to run the mercury lamp Performance Verification (PV) tests or
to perform a wavelength calibration.
• To run a PV test, in INSIGHT software click Home and then click Performance
Verification. If you have a custom button configuration, click Home, select the
Classic group and then click Performance Verification.
Select the following PV tests (deselect all other tests) and then click Run:
• Wavelength Accuracy - Hg Lines
• Wavelength Reproducibility - Hg 546
ADVERTENCIA Evite el riesgo de radiación ultravioleta en el compartimento de la
lámpara de mercurio. Proteja sus ojos y la piel de la exposición.
WARNING Avoid defeating the safety interlock. Keep magnets and strong magnetic
fields away from the mercury lamp when it is installed and the instrument is running.

autres champs magnétiques puissants éloignés de la lampe à vapeur de mercure
lorsque celle-ci est installée et que l’instrument est en marche.
WARNUNG Der Sicherheitsschalter darf nicht deaktiviert werden. Magneten und
starke Magnetfelder müssen von der Quecksilberlampe fern gehalten werden, wenn
die Lampe installiert ist und das Instrument läuft.

i forti campi magnetici lontano dalla lampada al mercurio mentre è installata e lo
