Adjusting the throttle link rod
1. Adjust:
Thr
ottle link rod
a. Remove the throttle link rod “1”.
b. Adjust the length “a” of the throttle link
rod “1”, and then
tighten the throttle
link rod nuts “2”.
c. Install the throttle link rod “1”.
d. Turn the accelerator cam “1” until it
contacts the stopper “a” of the bra
cket.
e. Loosen the throttle lever plate bolt “1”,
and
then push the throttle lever plate
“2” in the direction of the arrow so that
it contacts the fully closed stopper “3”
of the throttle body.
f. Push the throttle lever sub plate “1” in
the direction of the
arrow until the
bushing “2” contacts the fully closed
position “a” of the accelerator cam “3”,
and then tighten the throttle lever plate
bolt “4”.
g. Turn the accelerator cam to the fully
closed position and th
en fully open po-
sition. Repeat this operation 2 or 3
times to check that the accelerator
cam returns
to the fully closed posi-
tion.
h. Check that the throttle lever plate is in
contact with
the fully closed stopper of
the throttle body.
