Trouble code detecting conditions
A trouble code is detected if the relays cannot be turned on or off in response to a request from the
engine ECM. However, if the main relay cannot be turned on, trouble codes are not detected because
the engine ECM is not in operation.
Relays cannot be turned on (stuck OFF)
The cause may include: blown fuse, open circuit in wire harness
or exciting coil, corrosion or presence
of foreign material at relay connections, incorrect requests or determination of the engine ECM.
