Assembling the upper case
1. Install:
• Rubber seal (to the oil
pan assembly)
• Guide (to the oil pan assembly)
• Water pipe
• Rubber seal (to the oil
pan assembly)
• Dow
el pin
• Rubber seal (to the upper case)
• Upper case
2. Tighten:
• Upper case bolt
a. Tighten the upper case bolts “1” to the
specified torque in the order [1], [2],
and so on.
3. Install:
• Rubber seal
• Damper
• Plastic tie
• Gask
et
• Drain bolt
Upper case bolt “1”
42 N·m (4.2 kgf·m, 31 lb·ft)
Drain bolt
27 N·m (2.7 kgf·m, 20 lb·ft)
