5DX Series 3 Startup Procedure For the Agilent 5DX System
2. The Power Distribution Unit (PDU) provides ac power to the 5DX System.
Turn on the PDU by moving the switch to the on position. The PDU is located
at the back of the Electronics Bay, as shown in Figure 4-15.

3. Turn on the power switch for the Expansion Chassis. The Expansion Chassis
provides ac power to the System Controller.
4. At this point, the monitor should show indications of the System Controller
booting. There will be a selection screen for Windows NT Workstation Version
4.0 or Windows NT Workstation Version 4.0 (VGA). The default will be high-
lighted and will automatically load. You may press Enter to skip the automatic
timer countdown.
5. At the prompt, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to logon.
