5DX Series 3 Motion Controller PCI Cards
Y-Axis control
There are two Y-Axis servomotors. They are driven by two Servo Modules,
designated as Y1 and Y2. Each Servo Module is controlled by a single channel on
Motion Controller PCI #1. The Y-Axis operates in a closed-loop mode as shown in
Figure 5-21. Positional feedback is provided by two incremental encoders that are
attached to each Y-Axis servomotor and a two limit switches.
