The magnitude of the deflection is defined by the values of the FOV’s look-up
table loaded into the X-ray Scan Controller’s memory. The X-ray Scan Controller
contains four memory banks: Bank 0, Bank 1, Bank 2 and Bank 3. The banks are
look-up tables containing information relating to a Field of View (FOV). Bank 0 is
dedicated to containing the information for the Dump Ring. Banks 1 through 3 are
loaded as required to contain information about specific FOVs.
