Optional Parameters
CONFigure, FETCh?, READ? and MEASure? have the following three optional
parameters:
• An expected power value
•A resolution
• A source list
Expected Power Value
An <expected_value> parameter is only required if you are using an U2000
Series USB Power Sensor. The value entered determines which of the power
sensor’s two ranges is used for the measurement. If the current setting of the
power sensor’s range is no longer valid for the new measurement, specifying
the expected power value decreases the time taken to obtain a result.
Resolution
The <resolution> parameter sets the resolution of the current window. This
parameter does not affect the resolution of the remote data but it does affect
the auto averaging setting. The highest resolution setting is taken to calculate
the averaging. If you are making a ratio or difference measurement the
<resolution> parameters are applied to both.
Source List
The <source list> parameter is used to define:
• What channels the measurements will be made on, for a dual
CONFigure1?
