Administrator's Manual 26. Configuring Keys
Version 2.2.8 181 400HD Series IP Phones
Parameter Name Description
Paging Multicast
Address
The IP address via which multicast messages traverse. When an IP Phone
user announces or receives a multicast message, the message traverses
this IP address. You should assign a different IP address for each group.
This enables the multicasting of paged messages to different groups
simultaneously.
Paging Multicast Port
The port via which multicast messages traverse. When an IP Phone user
announces or receives a multicast message, the message traverses this
port. This port number does not need to be unique for each Paging Group.
