device; 'USB device was detected' should be
displayed in the
LCD. Remove it; 'USB device was removed' should be
displayed. Verify correct functionality.

46.1 Testing Keypad and Hook
 To test keypad and hook:
1. From the LCD, select menu option 4,Keypad and Hook; the phone's LCD displays a
graphic representation of the physical keypad (LCD screens differ slightly across
models).

2. Off-hook the handset; the background of the hook indicator ('H') turns black.

3. On-hook the handset; the background of the hook indicator ('H') reverts to white.
4. Press each key on the keypad; its representation in the LCD turns black.
