Troubleshooting Service engineer require message 95
SERVICE REQ. 00000100: Waste ink tank full
Problem
Waste ink tank overflow
Explanation
Shows that waste ink pads has become full of waste ink and remaining capacity is
0%. Because ink will leak if printing is continued in this condition, the printer
finishes printing (currently printed page) and then stops operation.
Solution
It is similar as "MAINTENANCE REQ. 0100".
SERVICE REQ. 00000101: CR motor life (Even Ink tube life)
Problem
CR Motor and Ink Tube life expired.
Explanation
Shows that CR motor movement cycles (pass number) have reached the set value
(4.8 million passes). If printing is continued in this condition, leaking or ink
leakage can occur by ink tube cracks or carriage operation can become faulty due
to internal wear, so the printer displays this message after the current page is
printed when 4.8 million passes is reached and then stops operation.
Solution
It is similar as "MAINTENANCE REQ. 0101".
SERVICE REQ. 00010000: PF encoder check error
P
roblem
PF motor encoder check error
Explanation
This message appears and printer is stopped when the encoder pulse signal is not
input at the required interval at power on initialization or during PF motor
operation.
Check Points
1. No dirt or foreign objects (dust, etc.) on PF encoder or Scale, PF.
2. No abnormality with PF timing belt and proper tension of the belt.
(Refer to 5.3.2 "PF timing belt tension adjustment")
3. No unusual loads on grid roller rotation.
4. PF motor resistance measurement. (approx. 6.7)
If it is shorted, replace the C362DRV Board at the same time.
5. Perform encoder check with self-diagnostic program. (Refer to Chapter 5,
Section 5.3 "Sensor, PF Encoder")
6. Harness connections are correct and no shorts or wire disruptions.
Solution
1. Replace the PF encoder sensor (5.3.2 "PF timing belt tension adjustment")
2. Replace the PF encoder (5.3.2 "PF timing belt tension adjustment")
3. Replace the C362DRV board (5.2.2 "Parameter Backup")
