5.4.4.16 Print head cleaning
This is the item that is carried out at the time of the end of the production process or
before the head exchange.

The [Enter] key will not be effective if the cartridges are not completely inserted
after the cartridges have been fully removed during display of "Please Dischg. I/
C," "Set Cleaning I/C" and "Please Dischg. I/C (2)." (Cannot shift to next part of
sequence.)
 If the [Pause] key is pressed while any of the 6 color cartridges are not fully
removed during display of "Please Dischg. I/C" or "Set Cleaning I/C," "Check
Cartridge" will be displayed.
 Shift to the next part of the sequence by pressing the [Enter] key during display of
"Check Cartridge."
 If the sequence cannot shift due to a problem, "Reset ** I/C" will be displayed.

If for some reason the process cannot move to the next part
of the After the regular cartridges are removed, install the
discharging cartridge and then press the [Enter] button.

C A U T I O N
 Do not carry out the counter clear of the menu that is displayed
at the end of the head washing.
 If the "Adjustment counter clear" was displayed, turn off the
power supply of the printer and get out of from the self
diagnostic operation mode.
Reason: Even the binding of the dye/paint is cleared by the
counter clear. After then, the printer becomes dye/paint selecting
condition, in the case that there is not the ink cartridge for
starter and you can not go ahead previously.
