5.4 Self-Diagnostics
Self diagnostics purposes mechanism adjustment and determining firmware adjustment
parameter. The function is built in the firmware. This function can be carried out by
turning the printer on while pressing specific button.
During the normal operation mode, it is impossible to change the mode to self-
diagnostic. The self-diagnostic function menu is shown on the Table 5-6, “Self-
Diagnostic Mode Controls,” on page 201 and Table 5-7, “Self-Diagnostic Menu
Stratum,” on page 201.
