4.3.3.12 Removing the PF Encoder
1. Disconnect the PF Encoder cable connector.

2. Loosen the set screw (2mm), and remove the bearing stopper.

C A U T I O N
 When removing PF Motor, be careful not to allow motor pinion
(metal gear) to be damaged by contacting frame.
 When reassembling PF Motor, move the PF reduction pulley by
hand and visually confirm that PF timing belt stays evenly in
center of pulley.

R E Q U I R E D
When PF Motor has been removed or PF timing belt tension
changed, perform belt tension adjustment. (Refer to Chapter 5,
section 5.3.2)
