8.4 Maintenance
When performing maintenance, see Chapter 6 "Maintenance."
This section describes information that is unique to Stylus Pro 10600, and it should be
applied in conjunction with Chapter 6 information.
8.4.1 Periodic Replacement Parts
Parts that must be periodically replaced for the Stylus Pro 10600 are monitored by
detection of fatal errors, and when such an error is displayed the part must be replaced/
inspected. These parts are listed in the following table.
8.4.2 Life Information
Information about life of Stylus Pro 10600 printer/mechanisms/components is shown
in Table 8-54.

C A U T I O N
 When replacing the waste ink pads, replace the pads in the waste
ink tank and not the whole tank. Put the old pads in a plastic bag
and throw away the used ink pads according to the laws and
rules in your area.
 (*1) It is not necessary to replace the flushing box when HC2/AY
ink is being used in Stylus Pro 10600.
