Basic hardware procedures
Example HVDC PSU 380 V
V CAUTION!
The HVDC PSU adjusts automatically to any power voltage in the range
from 200 V – 380 V. You may only operate the server if its rated voltage
range corresponds to the local mains voltage.

Ê Push the power cord plug into the PSU connector until it clicks in. The nose
of the power cord plug (A) engages in the recess of the PSU connector (B).
Ê Ensure that the status indicator on the PSU is lit green, see section
"Indicators on PSUs (hot-plug PSUs)" on page 431.
Ê If necessary, make a permanent connection to the distribution board.
V CAUTION!
If the server/rack is intended for permanent connection to the mains
only an authorized specialist (electrician) is allowed to work.
Please follow the regulation of each country.
I It will take about 60 seconds until the server can be powered on.
