Hard disk drive (HDD) / solid state drive (SSD)
7.4.2 Configuration with up to eight HDD/SSD modules
I SAS HDDs must not be populated above or below BC-SAS / BC-SATA
HDDs. In order to avoid this configuration, please make a free bay
intentionally.
For example, if only one SAS HDD or one BC-SAS / BC-SATA HDD is
ordered, this HDD will be installed in position 0 and position 1 will not be
used.
SAS HDDs and BC-SAS / BC-SATA HDDs can be mixed as long as SAS
HDDs are not populated above or below BC-SAS / BC-SATA HDDs.
The same kind of HDDs can be populated above or below each other.
