Compression factor
When you activate data compression (
), an additional data set is created
on the storage medium while measured values are being recorded. In
addition to all measured values, extreme values (Min/Max) are also saved in
this data set at the assigned time interval.
The time interval is determined by the compression factor relative to the set
sampling rate.
You can enter a compression factor from 480 to 32767.
Example:
Data rate: 2400 Hz
Compression factor: 480
2400Hz
480
+ 5Hz +
^
200 ms time interval
The extreme values are recorded at a time interval of 200 ms (recording
rate 5 Hz).
Information
A reduced data set can only be created if only one signal is recorded per
channel (with the exception of Gross/Net/PV1/PV2 è see page 251).
