Appendix C. System Messages
Code Message Possible Cause Solution
407.005.00007 The Solid Waste
bag was not
emptied.
The issue could be
due to one of the
following:
1. The waste
inventory has
been depleted.
2. Samples were
loaded when the
Waste Drawer
was open.
1. The system is not
able to process
samples.
2. Empty the waste
when possible to
refresh the Waste
inventory.
3. If samples were
loaded when the
Waste or Universal
Fluids Drawer was
open, close the
drawers and reload
the Sample Racks.
4. If the problem
persists, contact
Hologic Technical
Support.
407.005.00008 The Solid Waste
bag is not present.
The issue could be
due to one of the
following:
l Liquid Waste
container was
not completely
emptied when
emptying the
waste.
l The float sensor
on the Liquid
Waste
Container is
stuck above the
bottom of the
container.
1. Unlock and open
the Waste Drawer
and ensure that the
liquid waste has
been emptied.
2. Ensure that the float
sensor on the
Liquid Waste
Container is not
stuck above the
bottom of the bottle.
3. If the problem
persists, contact
Hologic Technical
Support.
