Status
The list of all Statuses available on the control that can be recorded. Common Statuses found here
are Drive Enables and Sensor THC Statuses when a Sensor THC is installed.
Note: While any of the above I/O or Statuses can be recorded, and in any combination, the
maximum number of items that can be recorded at any one time is eight (8).
Start
This combo box is used to select whether the oscilloscope is Manually started with the Record soft
key, is started at the Beginning of a Part, or started at the First Cut On.
Stop
This combo box is used to select whether the oscilloscope is Manually stopped with the Stop soft key,
is stopped at the End of a Part, or stopped at the End of a Cut.
Rate
This combo box is used to select whether the oscilloscope records the selected I/O and Statuses
every millisecond, every 10 milliseconds, every 100 milliseconds, or every second. The record
buffers are limited to 60,000 points of data for each item being recorded. If the Rate selected and
record time exceeds 60,000 points, only the last 60,000 points will be recorded.
Rate Maximum Record Time
1 millisecond 1 Minute
10 milliseconds 10 Minutes
100 milliseconds 1 Hour and 40 Minutes
1 second 16 Hours and 40 Minutes
Note: The above combo boxes are independent of each other and can be used in any combination
of the three.
Record
This soft key is used to start recording when the Start combo box above is set to Manually.
Stop
This soft key is used to Stop Recording when the Stop combo box above is set to Manually and to
stop playback when playing back a previously recorded file.
Pause
This soft key is used to Pause playback when playing back a previously recorded file. This key will
also Pause playback when Fast Forwarding.
Play
This soft key is used to Start playback for previously recorded files. These could be files that where
just recorded or files loaded using the Load soft key below.
Fast Forward
This soft key is used to Fast Forward playback and is only available when playing back previously
recorded files.
