6.5.8 Upper Cross Auger (UCA)
Figure 6.24: Upper Cross Auger
The upper cross auger (A) attaches in front of the backtube
and improves crop feeding into the center of the header in
heavy crop conditions. It is ideal for high-volume harvesting
of forages, oats, canola, mustard, and other tall, bushy,
hard-to-feed crops.
Order from the following list of kits according to your
header size:
For FD1 North American headers:
• 9.1 m (30 ft.) – MD #B6462
• 10.7 m (35 ft.) – MD #B6463
• 12.2 m (40 ft.) – MD #B6464
