To clean the equipment, follow this procedure:
1. Shut down the device.
2. Clean the display screen with wipes or a soft cloth moistened with one of the
cleaning agents listed in "Approved Cleaning and Disinfecting Agents" on page
16 - 3 only.
3. Clean the exterior surface of the main unit and lithium-ion battery pack with wipes
or a soft cloth moistened with one of the cleaning agents listed in "Approved
Cleaning and Disinfecting Agents" on page 16 - 3 only.
4. Wipe off all the cleaning agent residue with a dry cloth.
5. Dry the equipment in a ventilated, cool place.
CAUTION
• Always dilute according the manufacturer’s instructions or use lowest
possible concentration.
• Take extra care when cleaning the display screen because it is more
sensitive to rough cleaning method.
• Never allow the cleaning solutions to spill or enter the plug, connector
or battery compartment. If liquid has accidentally entered the
equipment or its parts, shut down the equipment and have the device
serviced by authorized service personnel.
• Never immerse the lithium-ion battery pack, AA battery tray and AA
batteries in any fluids.
• As the battery compartment is not water proof, do not contact the
battery contacts when cleaning the equipment.
• Do not hook the battery contacts in the battery compartment with other
objects. Otherwise, the battery contacts may be distorted.
• Keep the battery compartment free away from any foreign objects.
